Herbal ingredients in Passion Rx
Ashwagandha
is a shrub whose roots have been used for thousands of years by Ayurvedic
practitioners. Ashwagandha contains withanolides which are known to influence
acetylcholine receptors involved in dilation of blood vessels.
Catuaba
is a medium-sized tree found in Brazil. In Brazilian herbal medicine, Catuaba
bark is considered a central nervous system stimulant with aphrodisiac
properties.
Cnidium is a plant which grows in China
whose seeds are used in classical traditional Chinese medicine. A compound found
in cnidium called osthol helps relax the corpus cavernosa of the penis.
Muira Puama is a small tree native to
the Brazilian Amazon. Indigenous peoples use muira puama for the therapy of
sexual debility, fatigue, and low mood.
Shilajit
herb from India.
Tongkat Ali is a small tree found
in the jungles throughout Malaysia and Southeat Asia. Studies show that Tongkat
Ali produces a dose-dependent increase in mounting frequency of treated animals.
Tribulus Terrestris, also called
"puncture vine," is a plant long used around the world for the treatment of
various ailments.
Tribulus-Terrestris may work by relaxing smooth muscles and increasing blood
flow into the corpus cavernosa. The relaxant effect observed is probably due to
the increase in the release of nitric oxide from the endothelium and nerve
endings.
Yohimbe is the name of the bark of a
tall evergreen tree in western Africa known as Pausinystalia yohimbe.
Yohimbe acts through the nervous system to increase blood flow to the genital
region through antagonism of alpha 2-adrenoceptors. The amount of yohimbe in
this product has been intentionally kept low to minimize any potential side
effects (about half or a third of other products on the market). Individuals with heart conditions, a tendency for heart irregularities, or high blood pressure should consult
their physician who may recommend that dosage be kept to 1/2 of a capsule. Yohimbe should be used carefully in those who take anti-depressants (particularly
MAO inhibitors), stimulant drugs, or cardiac drugs.
Positive Side Effects
Thus far in our clinical research, the most common positive side effects have
been increased energy, alertness, enhanced motivation, and improved vision. Some
users have also reported that colors are brighter and visual focus has improved.
There have been several reports that Passion Rx leads to a sense of wellbeing,
improved confidence, and a sense of mild and pleasant euphoric relaxation. The sexual enhancing effects of Passion Rx are noticed
more when the actual act of intimacy occurs, or when a person begins to
self-stimulate.
Negative Side Effects
The most common negative side effects include occasional impatience or
restlessness (for instance while being stuck in traffic--this is due to the
increased energy that Passion Rx provides), slightly elevated body temperature
(drink cold water to cool yourself if this happens),
and mild insomnia. Avoid taking more than one
capsule of this product. Side effects are dose dependent. That is, the higher
dosages, the more likely side effects would occur.
As with any other supplement, it is best to consult with your health care
provider before use particularly if you have a medical condition or you are
taking medicines.

Passion Rx questions
Q. Can you help me with Passion Rx and any other products which are safe to take
and won’t land me on a bad boy list with my employer? I work for the Arizona Air
National Guard (Federal Civil Service) and military. The military frowns on
personnel taking products they have deemed off limits. What is out there for
military personnel?
A. The herbs in Passion Rx are not detected on a routine blood test
for drugs. All the herbs in Passion Rx are approved by the FDA and are available
without a prescription.
Q. I noticed that there are fewer
ingredients in the Passion Rx with Yohimbe formula, and more ingredients in the
Passion Rx formula without Yohimbe. Obviously, the main reason people may not
choose the Yohimbe formula is because they don't like the potential side
effects. But let's say that the side effects are not a factor. Would the formula
with Yohimbe be a more ideal choice? Or could you possibly be missing out on
features of the other ingredients which are not included in this formula? I
guess I am just trying to figure out, side effects aside, which is the better
formula. It seems if the ingredients were important enough for the formula
without Yohimbe, I wonder why they wouldn't also be in the formula with Yohimbe?
As you can see, I'm trying to decide which formula to spend my money on. I want
the most effective, but don't want to be stuck with the Passion Rx formula that
doesn't work (whether it be non-effective or have side effects) for me and have
to spend money on the other.
A. The number of ingredients in a formula may not be as important
as the dosage and extract potency.
Q. Can I take Passion Rx if taking Atacand
Plus? I find my sex drive to be less and I have impotence since starting this
drug. No heart problems or diabetes.
A. Atacand Plus is a combination of two medicines used in the
treatment of high blood pressure: the angiotensin II receptor blocker
candesartan cilexetil and the diuretic (water tablet) hydrochlorothiazide. Both
medicines could reduce libido or lead to erectile dysfunction and may prevent
the Passion Rx or other herbal products from working. Perhaps if your doctor
agrees you could take half a capsule 2 hours after breakfast (do not take a full
capsule), and your doctor may also suggest fish oil capsules. If possible to
reduce the dose of the meds this may also help. See
hypertension for
dietary suggestions to discuss with your doctor. It may be difficult for herbal
products to counteract the blood pressure pill sexual side effects.
Q. I live in China and bought 3 bottles of
Passion Rx with Yohimbe recently, which were mailed from the U.S, and started to
take it several days ago. Yesterday I read a piece of information in a newspaper
that Viagra could reduce the the level of activity of sperms. I wonder if
Passion Rx also has such kind of side effect, or just vice versa... I read also
that Yohimbe has very bad side effect and is forbidden in some countries, but up
to now I can see some good effect of Passion Rx on me ,but not side effect. Can
I go on taking it?
A. The formula of Passion Rx has more than a dozen herbs and is
completely different that Viagra which is a drug. We have not tested Passion Rx
on sperm quality but some of the ingredients in Passion Rx, such as maca, have
beneficial effects on sperm health. As to yohimbe, Dr. Sahelian has been careful
in putting in only small amounts of the herb in order to minimize side effects.
In the long term, Passion Rx could be taken only 2 or 3 days a week with a
complete week off every month or two.
Q. Can you take Viagra while taking Passion
Rx? I am having trouble while taking Viagra that I never had before
(keeping an erection) will Passion Rx product help?
A. Passion Rx has a delayed effect of a day or two, if your doctor
approves you can take Passion Rx two mornings in a row, and then either on third
or fourth day or evening you can take Viagra, maybe less than your usual dose.
We don't suggest taking Passion Rx the same day as Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra.
Q. Does Passion Rx lead to male enhancement?
A. It depends how you define
male enhancement.
Q. Hello. I'm a marathon runner and was
considering taking Passion Rx to improve blood flow to improve my running ...
not for sex. Would this be a good idea? Or are there other natural supplements
you would recommend? Arginine?
A. We are not aware of any herbs or herbal combinations that would
improve physical performance in the long run. Perhaps a multivitamin product
could be helpful such as MultiVit Rx. But we seriously doubt arginine would
help. Although certain herbs may have a temporary benefit in providing more
energy, their long term benefit for exercise performance enhancement is
questionable.
Q. I use Passion Rx and I think it's a real
good product and it works great. I have Adult ADD and I take a product by VAXA
that is called ATTEND. Can I take this in combination with Passion Rx? Please
see the ingredients below.

A. We prefer Passion Rx and ATTEND be taken on separate days. In
the long run, Passion Rx is only used 2 or 3 days a week.
Q. I was just wondering what happens when you
decide to stop taking
Passion Rx with yohimbe? Does it have a reverse affect and
cause you to NOT be able to produce erections naturally?
A. We have not had any reports that this has occurred. We generally
recommend Passion Rx not be used more than 2 or 3 days a week, and a week off
each month.
Q. Since I have been taking Passion Rx, I
have noticed that my testicles are much more sensitive than I can ever remember
them being. As a result, I am more careful when sitting down, and when
exercising (sitting on my bicycle saddle for extended periods of time can make
them a little sore which, again, has never before happened). Can this be a
result of the Passion Rx?
A. It can be. Passion Rx enhances sensation in the genital region,
and perhaps this could be a Passion Rx side effect. Most people find the
enhanced sensation of the genital organs as a positive side effect, however, it
is possible that if it is causing discomfort while bicycling, it could be
considered a negative side effect.
Q. Have you had information concerning any
reaction of Passion Rx to Vicodin or Ibuprofen? I am over 78 and take the two
prescription medications infrequently. I am in good health but need some
assistance sexually.
A. We have not had feedback from users of Passion Rx who take
Vicodin, codeine, ibuprofen or a NSAID drug.
Q. I was wondering if Passion Rx is also a
good formula for the physical aspect of sexual enhancement. My girlfriend has complained that
she has no sexual urges and when we do have intercourse she says that it is
painful. I do not know the best terms to use but it just does not seem that she
has the normal aspects of a female being aroused. She does not “loosen up” which
may be causing her pain. I think this could be caused to her not truly being
aroused or wanting sex mentally. Will Passion Rx be a good choice to see if it
helps that or is there possibly more to it?
A. Many women notice all aspects of sexuality to be enhanced by
Passion Rx including lubrication, libido, arousal, stamina, and overall
pleasure.
Q. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I would
like to buy Passion Rx. Would you know a dealer in Europe where I can buy this
product?
A. If you google Passion Rx and UK, there should be an internet
store in England that could ship to Denmark.
Q. Does taking
Passion Rx increase
testosterone levels?
A. We don't have any clinical studies to know whether users of
Passion Rx have increased testosterone levels.
Q. I am 72 years old and on Diovan for blood
pressure, simvastatin for cholesterol, and verapamil. Is it okay to take Passion
Rx?
A. That is a decision your doctor has to make. Herbal formulas for
sexual enhancement may increase blood pressure and heart rate which could create
complications in those with blood pressure or heart problems.
Q. This morning I took Passion Rx and Mind
Power Rx at the same time. Then i read that it is not recommended to take them
together. What are the risks of taking both?
A. There could be increased heart rate and excess energy with
restlessness, then again some people may not notice any side effects. Each
person is unique in how they respond.
Q. I will like to know if Passion Rx
increases testosterone. And how this product is compare with Provestra which is
another sexual improving product in the market.
A. We have no idea of the effectiveness of Provestra since we are
not familiar with this product. There are many ways herbal sexual enhancers
improve sexuality, and testosterone is only one of the ways. We have not tested
Passion Rx in terms of blood studies to see if testosterone levels increase
after use, but certain ingredients found in Passion Rx have been known to
influence testosterone levels.
Q. Can you tell me if drinking a glass of
wine is okay or should I not drink alcohol with Passion Rx?
A. We prefer not drinking wine or any alcohol on the same day as
Passion Rx.
Read an interview in the

Beach Post -- Alternatives to Viagra.
Some Passion Rx
testimonials emailed to Physician Formulas.
Q.
I feel aroused more than before when taking Passion Rx, even looking at a simple picture of an
attractive girl on-line and I get an erection, this is an amazing feeling.
Q. I took Passion Rx for two days and did not
notice an effect.
A. Before prematurely judging this popular product that has a high
rate of reorder, we ask that you read in full the explanation on this page,
particularly on how to take Passion Rx and how long it takes for it to work.
Passion Rx is not like Viagra that works quickly. Herbal supplements take time
to have their effect on the body but they have much fewer side effects than the
drugs. Sometimes it take 2 weeks or so to work and that is why we have 30
capsules in a bottle, not 2 or 3. Passion Rx is taken on an empty stomach at
least an hour before breakfast 2 days on, one day off. It is important to take a
day off. Once you notice the benefits, then you can take it less frequently. We
suggest you not take other supplements on the days that you take Passion Rx.
Also, are you or your wife taking prescription medications? If so we suggest you
have approval by your doctor. Please email us in 2 weeks and let us know how
things went and we can proceed from there with other suggestions.
