Eyesight Rx with vitamin and herbal extracts
Eyesight improvement product
Developed by Ray Sahelian, M.D.

Unlike some eyesight products that provide vitamins and herbs for long term healthy eyesight support, and prevention of visual impairment, but don't seem to have much of an immediate effect on visual acuity, Eyesight Rx was formulated to provide a quick and noticeable eyesight improvement within hours or days of use. Reports from Eyesight Rx users indicate enhanced clarity of vision, colors being brighter, better focus, and overall improvement in close and distance vision. We've had reports of some people noticing this effect within a half hour, while most people notice improved eyesight within hours. Still others will realize their eyesight is sharper the next morning when they take their second dose. We've even had some individuals mention that Eyesight Rx was helpful as a hangover cure.

Supplements that support healthy eyesight
The lens, retina, macula, and other parts of the eye involved in eyesight can be protected with the proper intake of antioxidants. Almost all the antioxidants likely have a positive influence on eye health, including vitamin C, and alpha lipoic acid. If you always wanted to know how to improve eyesight, read on.

Substances in fruits and vegetables that help improve eyesight
The two major categories are carotenoids and polyphenols.

Carotenoids are found in fruits and vegetables. Of the many carotenoids circulating in human bloodstream, only lutein, zeaxanthin, and lycopene are accumulated to any significant degree throughout the tissues of the eye. Good eyesight depends on more that just eating carrots since carrots mostly contain beta carotene.
Lutein is a carotenoid which has become popular as a dietary supplement either by itself, or combined with zeaxanthin.
   Zeaxanthin and lutein
play an important role in protecting eye tissue in the macula from damage by free radicals. Corn, eggs, green leafy vegetables, peppers, red grapes and pumpkins are some of the foods rich in lutein and zeazanthin.

Testimonials
I ordered 1 bottle (30 tablets) about 40 days ago and I have 4 tablets left. I still cannot see the faces on TV 8-10 ft away from couch or prices on a 65 in TV about 30 ft away, clearly. I wear a 1.25 corrective lens only in my left eye but I was wearing a 3.25 contact before taking the tablets. I’m going to be 50 yrs old son. Should I continue taking the supplements and do you think my vision will ever become more clear? I was wearing a 3.25 contact in my left eye to see the computer, small font reports and menus. I kept thinking things were blurry so I started wearing my 1.25 contact worn for distance (right eye) that I hadn’t wore in a few months, in my left eye, and I can see all my reports and menus just fine. Still having some blurriness with objects and people’s faces at a distance. It wasn’t right away like the web site said but there was definite improvement. I was taking 25,000 IU vitamin A with eyesight tablets but this week I started taking 2 Flax Seed Oil capsules. So the website said a person would need less over time and I’m wondering if my vision will continue to improve if I keep taking them or do you think I’m maxed out my improvement. Also will there come a time when the reverse happens like the vision diminishes.
It is very difficult to predict since each person has a different response and different supplements or diet or medications that could help or hurt their vision. Perhaps other supplements can be tried such as fish oils, bilberry, lutein, etc.

Eyesight Rx emails
Q. Eye Sight Rx appears to be very potent based on the ingredients. Does does it raise blood pressure? Any side effects? I am concerned about the herbs I do not know about: Jujube extract, mucuna pruriens, cinnamon. I read that cinnamon raises the blood pressure. I researched the herb, etc. Most of them I have already take. I would like to order it right now. I am so excited about Eyesight Rx.
   A. We have not had any reports of increased blood pressure from Eyesight Rx. Some people prefer using it every other day if they are very sensitive to herbs. The most common side effect reported to us is alertness late into the night which can cause shallow sleep. In this case, just take the Eyesight Rx every other day since it tends to build in the system with continued use.

Q. I am interested in purchasing Eyesight Rx. I recall reading that the days taking this product, one should limit other supplements on that day. I take a barley / chlorella / spirulina supplement in lieu of a vitamin pill. I take about 5 of those a day - should I reduce dosage of that? Also, I take Vitamin D3 supplements - do I need to limit those, too?
   A. Barley, chlorella, spirulina and vitamin D are supplements that are not known to interact negatively with other supplements, therefore it would seem that using Eyesight Rx would not be expected to cause any untoward interactions.

Q. My wife has an eye condition which may aided by using Eyesight Rx product. She takes Coumadin and is concerned about the effect Eyesight Rx may have on her blood thickness. Any comments regarding her using Eyesight Rx is appreciated.
   A. We have not tested Eyesight Rx in those who take Coumadin, warfarin, so we have not idea what kind of interactions there would be. If her doctor approves, she can try a third of a tablet every other day.

Q. I have recently seen Eyesight Rx and wondered if anyone has had luck with a reduction in eye pressure with use of this product. I currently use a prescription called Zalatan which does help regulate my pressures. However I have always wanted to take something natural and get off of this Western Medicine Script which has a list of several possible side effects.
   A. Eyesight Rx was formulated for those who have age related gradual visual decline. We have not tested Eyesight Rx for the treatment of glaucoma or reduction in eye pressure. Also, we have not had any feedback from users who have used it for this purpose. Users of Eyesight Rx report improved visual clarity and better color perception.

I am excited that your vision supplement can be used sublingually! I have been taking PureFocus, a "pumped" liquid sublingual source of lutein, but wish it had more ingredients. I just ordered 2 bottles to get started with it. Gary Price Todd's work persuaded me that pycnogenol (and/or later, the grape seed extract with similar properties) is very beneficial, especially if I have concern about macular degeneration. Can I take pycnogenol or grape seed extract with Eyesight Rx formula?
It is best to learn how each supplement works by itself for a week before considering combining. In the long run, Eyesight Rx is used 3 or 4 days a week and the other supplements may be taken on the days that the vision formula is not used.

Sometime ago, possibly a couple of years ago, I bought 2 bottles of the Eyesight Rx formula. I have double vision and at that time, my condition was just starting. After following the instructions on the label, I took a tablet and put it under my tongue. This is very strange, for about 1 second, my eyes were able to focus together. But only for a second, not longer. The following days, I took the usual dosage once every two days, but have not had the same experience again. Now my condition is more serious and will surely try the new formula. If you have any suggestions, please let me know; because the other doctors have no way of treating my condition.
Sometimes this formula works better in people when they use a third of a tablet daily, Other times it works better when a full tablet is taken. It is very difficult to predict and it may change with time as the nutrients accumulate in the eye. Taking several fish oil capsules a day can also help. Some people find the occasional use of a lutein supplement on a day when the eyesight formula is not being used to be also helpful. It may take trial and error to find a good combination and dosage.

I am inquiring about Eye Rx formula supplement. I have tried other eye vitamin supplements only to find out that they do very little for me, so how is your product different than they others out there? Can you tell me how much lutein and zeaxanthin are in your product? Could I take it on a daily basis, each and every day?Could I take it along with other eye vitamins? Could I take it along with my daily use of other vitamin / mineral supplements? I am 63 years old, and I have a few eye problems, and I would like to know if your product would really help my eyes? I really believe in supplements, but so many of them are just a waste of money.
Most users find this eye formula to help with day and night vision and close and distance vision. However, it is not possible to predict any one person's reaction to any supplement or medication. There are small amounts of lutein and zeaxanthin but we cannot say exactly in order to prevent competitors from copying the formula. Most people take a tablet every other day or half a tablet two days on, one day off. Other eye vitamins can be taken on the days the eyesight formula is not used. Most users can taken other multivitamins the same day.

Before ordering we would like to know if the desired and side effects of the following products might be potentiated or mitigated by using them all together:- Diet Rx- Eyesight Rx- Mind-Power Rx. We are looking to using those products by a 55 years old diabetic father and 23 pre diabetic (insulin resistance) daughter. We are specially concern in preventing over stimulation. Any thoughts?
We don't suggest taking them the same day.
